these are the fine artifacts of mayhem…
Evilminded / Evilways 2001 M.I.R. Records
This is the first installment on the evilminded series of recordings, it is completely electronic oriented but not in your average sense of electronic music, it is a hybrid blend of experimental noise, with dark ambient sounds and atmospheres. Basically it is the turning point for the creation of what would become the chaos the band is right now, or to put it in other words, it is the first brick on the construction of the deconstruction of the sounds at their current state to date.

NOISE an Ep by Evilminded 2002 M.I.R. Records
On this recording we can take a glimpse of what’s evolving inside evilminded’s head, the electronic aspect of the project has gone astray into a different path, guitars and vocals have been added to bring up the noise factor and abuse the frequencies that these instruments produce. It is more rock oriented, but it has a lot of experimental sounds to it. The goal was to create something that would balance the digital and the organic sounds, agression is the key factor on these songs, and it can only go crazier from here on.

GODLIKE by EvilMinded 2002 M.I.R. Records
And crazier it got… on this third recording the band actually pushed the envelope a little bit more, it really is a compilation of some of the songs from the previous two recordings, this was made in order to show the evolution of the band, and also to make available these recordings since the actual “albums” went out of print, and it costs too much money to just put those copies out, so in the long term this was a better way to go. The band added a couple of new songs that are in the distorted guitars section with a more Industrial Rock/Digital Hardcore vibe, also some other type of sounds that can only be described as experimental.

E.A.V./E.A.H. 2003 M.I.R. Records Translated to EXTREME ACTS OF VIOLENCE / EXTREME ACTS OF HATE
In the words of Viktor, evilminded’s long time friend and live bandmate: “Why should I tell you that it’s the album that revolutionized the Guatemalan sound if not the sound worldwide, that it took a chance into doing something different and controversial… it blended so many genres and sounds… FUCK NO!! I’m not going to say that… this album is like the forbidden orgasm between a priest and a nun, evilminded was jamming so much shit into that fucking computer that it burned down the mother board… it felt like piss running down your throat and you liked it, it’s sadistic and a beat me up real good kind of feeling… but someone might end up liking it, like a fine kick”
